About Me
I was introduced to Chiropractic by a friend while I was in University. At that stage in my life I was looking for a career that fit my sport active lifestyle and Chiropractic seemed to just fall in my lap. I am extremely glad Chiropractic found me!

Chiropractic Education

I was born in Newfoundland, Canada, where I attended Memorial University of Newfoundland graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 2000. I then moved to Davenport, Iowa, where I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, the "Fountain Head" of the profession, graduating with a Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2004. I have been providing Chiropractic care all over the world. I have worked in a Federal Government Regulated Rehabilitation Center in Longview Texas, USA, I have provided Chiropractic care to thousands of deserving patients in Africa while I spent 1 year working in Accra Ghanna. I have also worked in London, U.K. However, since 2007 I have been happily providing care to the people of Cork, Ireland!

Arthritis begins in childhood

Posted on December 30, 2012 at 6:54pm 0 Comments

What the…!  Arthritis in children?  Is that even possible?  Sounds like a paradox.  And yet, research confirms that it isn’t just possible… it’s probable!

Osteoarthritis, or spinal degeneration, commonly touted as “wear and tear”, is a process most of us associate with aging.  And yet, as chiropractors, we see evidence of the early beginnings of this process in kids as young as six and seven years old.

Research shows spinal degeneration is detectable in at least 35% of people…
